I'm Going to Miami!

And I’m back, already. Last week I took a very short (only one night!) jaunt to Miami to speak at the annual D3000 conference on the glories of email marketing.

For those not in the know: D3000 is a database product of SMI, a lovely partner we integrate with, that specializes in destination marketing organizations (DMOs). In short, our partnership helps DMOs send email communication better, faster, stronger.

The opportunity was rather serendipitous as I recently worked with a fabulous DMO client, Visit Loudoun, and we increased their click rates by more than 500%! This gave us a platform to do just a little bragging, and show off how our clients are using Informz to maximize their email marketing.

A big thank you to SMI for the invitation, Visit Miami for being the ultimate hosts of their city, and Visit Loudoun for being our guinea pigs as we got all email marketing mad scientist with their newsletters.

Oh, and a big hello to Kaylie at Lafayette CVB, Gail at Tourism Montreal, and Julia at Visit Seattle. It was a pleasure to meet you!
